Hi, I'm Amanda Viviana

wedding & Lifestyle Photographer
Minimalist line art drawing of two blooming flowers with leaves on white background.

I’m an award-winning lifestyle and wedding photographer based in Southeast Louisiana, capturing real, emotional moments that never feel forced.

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember, starting with helping photograph my cousins’ senior portraits, and that passion has only grown into something much deeper. Alongside photography, I’ve spent nearly two decades in the arts as both a dancer and then a dance teacher, which has shaped the way I see movement, emotion, and connection.

Because of that background, I naturally guide my clients in a way that feels effortless and comfortable, never stiff or overly posed. I understand how to work with movement, posture, and energy to create images that feel genuine and alive.

My Expierence

Awarded Best in Photography in a juried exhibition of 100+ works

I’ve photographed a wide range of lifestyle sessions and weddings, and have second-shot alongside multiple photographers across Louisiana. I was also the photographer for a ballet studio in Hammond for a few years, where I regularly captured dancers in motion, an experience that has deeply influenced my eye for timing and detail.

My work has been exhibited in galleries three times, and was voted Best in Photography during an exhibition of over 100 works by Kay Curley, a graphic designer who has worked with companies like Nike, and Orlando Hernandez-Ying, a curator at New Orleans Museum of Art.

I’ve also collaborated on multiple shoots with model Krystal Kadaver.

Through all of these experiences, I’ve learned that moments can’t be recreated, and capturing them well comes down to being present, intuitive, and ready for what matters most.

Film

I fell in love with 35mm film for its imperfect beauty and timeless feel. After spending countless hours developing film by hand in the darkroom, I now offer film as part of select packages.

Film brings a softness and authenticity that beautifully complements my digital work, creating images that feel both nostalgic and lasting.

My Style

My editing style is light and airy, focused on natural tones and timeless imagery.

I work best with clients who want photos that feel real, even if you feel a little awkward at first, but want to be guided in a way that feels natural and true to them.

My goal is always the same:

to help you feel confident, comfortable, and like the most authentic version of yourself in front of the camera.

I’m drawn to genuine connection, subtle emotion, and the in-between moments, the ones that often mean the most.

WHo I'm for

If you’re looking for photos that feel effortless, romantic, and true to you, you’re in the right place.

On your special day, I’ll be your personal hypewoman, probably fixing your hair twenty times without you even noticing.

If you value natural, unposed moments and cherish real, raw memories over perfectly staged ones, I’d love to work with you.
